The planing process for my project
my project is going to be over my grandpa and what he does and what his life is over. Whats most important to him and some of the stuff that he really likes to do. I am going to do an webspiration time thing over it, and then i am going to put pictures into it and make it all about him thing.

google experamental
My 4 sites that i found that i liked is....
City tours- This one was cool because you could find different towns in different country's and you could find where you live and zoom really far in and it will show you the street you live on and sometimes, depends where you live but you can see someones or your house and what it looks like, i think its pretty cool. If you click on a different place like Texas or something it will show you the best places to go to while you are there and it will give you directions to that place to.
Image Swirl- This is the 2nd one that I found, this one was cool because it had different pictures of what ever you typed in and instead of like the regular google way where there is different pages, you just click on one and it brings up all different kinds of pictures of the item or what ever you typed in.
Script Converter- I found this one looking for a while, but at first I thought it was just a language converter which would of been cool but this one you could type in any web site and put it in any language that you wanted to and it would show you what it looked like in a different way which is fun to see like how they write things and what a web site looks like in a different style.
Google Listen- this was the last one that I found, I like listening to music so when i found it I played around a little bit, and it takes a while to figure it out but once I did, its a lot like other music stations like pandora. You can put in what ever music you want to listen to and as you put the songs in it just saves them as you go on and plays on its own, and if you want it to it will shuffle the music around for you so you don't have to go back and change it every time. So its kind of like a Ipod or something on a computer.

Delisiouse bookmarks
I bookmarked the sites on delicious because those sites I go to the most or I use the most. Since we had to have 50 by a certain time some of them I just put on there because I couldn't think of anymore places that I like to go that is a site.
I use my delicious account for a good reason, I mainly use it for short cuts to get to the sites i want faster, and for when I don't remember a web site I just tell that person to send that to me through delicious so I can just click on it and go!.... and that is what I use my delicious account for! ..:)

How to got poll daddy into a graph from Excel
Step one: you have to collect all your data.
Step two: you open an excel and click in row A.
Step three: type in your names or whatever your poll daddy was on, type those in row A.
Step four: Click on row B and type in your numbers from your poll.
Step five: ones yours looks like with names in one row and numbers in row B.
Step six: Click on which ever chart you want and there you go its made :)!

Is Technology A Tool, or Entertainment for Bored Kids?
I think that technology is an entertainment for kids, because kids use it in everyday life, no matter what they do. Technology is a tool for kids and adults as well. Adults use technology for really good things, like computers they use for work, cell phones they use to find their children when there at school or something, they use fax machines to send important things to other companies without having to drive clear across the country to give them something. So parents do use technology as a tool in everyday life and they use it very wisely.
Children, teenagers, and some college students only use technology for fun, to make life not so boring they get on a computer and game or text everyone in their cell phone because they have nothing else to do. College students use their computers or lab tops for homework and to make presentations, which I think is a very wise way to use technology, but others don’t take things so seriously and they play games during class or email or just us it for nothing.

How does technology affect society?--Computers
How does technology affect society?
Technology affects society because it is constantly changing, and its changing us to. Some of the changes have been difficult to deal with. In the future, these changes are going to be happening faster, with less time to prepare. Technology has in turn shaped human society. Advancing technology has changed our society, transforming how we live our daily lives.
Some of my favorites is cell phones and the cool things that you can create on them and do on them, like texting! I really like the new GPS systems out, I think that they help a lot of people out, yes they can get you very lost if you don't know how to work one but after you figure them out they really are very useful. Another good technology thing that is out is the Ipod or the Itouch :). I think those are the greatest thing ever, you can download music with out having to by a CD disc or only having the chose between 20 songs, you can put multiple songs on there and however many you want. I really think that these type of things benefit you a lot, because if you needed help or where lost the cell phone would come in great handy. The ipod is really helpful when you go on trips or its something to keep kids well occupied. The GPS is really helpful especially for kids that are going off to collage and on long trips, they really do help out a lot.
For the web 2.0 and the other advancements in technology, I think are awesome :)!! You can do a lot more things with the advancements then what you can do with the older software. Like we have been using blogger and its very funny when you just get to stop and take the time to find out what all it can really do, its reminds you a lot like facebook but with just a few different features. Another one that i thought was pretty fun was poll daddy, we got to make are own polls and put them in are blogs and people came in and voted on them witch it was pretty fun to see witch one was ahead and what other peoples opinions where. One more that I liked was the voki guys... we made them talked and got to do a bunch of different things with them we recorded through are phones witch was very funny when you herd them talk. So some of the stuff that we have done in computer class is very good technology and I could use later on and others I probably wont use much at all.
